Today, after breakfast, we will move through the village of Mto Wa Mbu in the direction of the Lake Manyara National Park, well known for the huge flocks of seasonal flamingos that line its shores, along with various other water birds; moreover, inside the Park it is possible to observe the lions climbing the trees, often spotted sleeping on their twisted branches or in the shade below, and also large herds of baboons. During our safari we will look for elephants, hippos, buffaloes, striped mongooses, monkeys and numerous species of gazelles and antelopes. Packed lunch. Later in the afternoon we will head northwest along a scenic route. We will spend the night Campsite on the edge of the Great Rift Valley. Dinner and overnight.

Breakfast and departure towards the Serengeti National Park, through Karatu and the Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area. This scenic drive reveals the vast undulating plains of the Serengeti dotted with rocky hills called “Kopjies”. The Serengeti takes its name from the Masai word “Siringitu” which means infinite plain. The plains of the southern Serengeti really seem to stretch out into infinity, providing a prime hunting ground for African big cats, especially cheetahs. Packed lunch along the way. In the afternoon, we arrive at our private camp inside the Serengeti where we will find our tents. Dinner and overnight.

Breakfast. The whole day will be dedicated to observing the plains rich in wildlife: our expert guide will take us to the areas where sighting of wild animals is most likely. The Serengeti is famous above all for the migration of wildebeest, one of the most spectacular faunal phenomena in the world. We will be able to witness the passage of hundreds of thousands of wildebeest migrating north at the end of the rainy season (from April to June). During the minor rainy season (October and November), herds migrate south from the Masai Mara in Kenya to the Serengeti plains. At the end of the safari, return to the camp for dinner and overnight.
