Tanzania Safari with Zanzibar Beach, This classic Tanzania safari takes you to Serengeti, after which you will go to the Tanzania coast for an unwinding beach holiday extension. Of course, no safari is complete without an evening walk (barefoot) along some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
DAY 01: ARUSHA
Today your flight arrives Kilimanjaro International Airport. After you clear customs and collect your luggage, our staff will meet you and transfer you to Arusha and your accommodation. Welcome to Tanzania!

DAY 02: CENTRAL SERENGETI
Depart for the Serengeti National Park with picnic lunch, Which is famed for its annual migration, when some six million hooves pound the open plains, as more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelle join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing. Yet even when the migration is quiet, the Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa: great herds of buffalo, elephant and giraffe, and thousands upon thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant’s gazelle. Golden-maned lion prides feast on the abundance of plain grazers.
Solitary leopards haunt the acacia trees lining the Seronera River, while a high density of cheetahs prowl the southeastern plains. There is more to Serengeti than large mammals. There are over 500 species of birds, and your guide will also introduce you to the small five’. Enroute to Serengeti, you will drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Ndutu Plains.

DAY 03-04: CENTRAL SERENGETI
The next two days are spent exploring what is probably the greatest park on earth…
This park, undoubtedly the most famous in the world, covers over 14,000 sq. km. and offers the largest concentration of big cats in the world (Cheetahs, Lions, Leopards, Wild cats…).
Many different landscapes can be found in the Serengeti: savannah with the big plains to the south, the hills & woods to the west, the kopjes area to the east, and bush land to the north. Important rivers (Seronera, Banagi, and Grumeti) also run through the park and many different species of mammals can be spotted around these (Elephants, Buffalos, Giraffes, antelopes…). Hippos and crocodiles can also be found.Lunch boxes or at your Lodge/camps

DAY 05: MATEMWE
After breakfast depart for Seronera airstrip with an enroute game drive. Bush flight by light aircraft: Serengeti / Seronera – Zanzibar.
Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative for your transfer to the villa for dinner and overnight.

DAY 06-09: MATEMWE
Enjoy the rest of your day at leisure. Perhaps experience an additional excursion at additional cost. Excursions include: visiting Prison Island by a traditional wooden dhow, formerly a detention center, this is an ideal place to sunbathe or snorkel with giant turtles, dolphin cruises, scuba diving, spice tours or trek into Jozani Forest.

DAY 10:: END OF ITINERARY
Enjoy some final moments at the beach or searching for souvenirs before your transfer to the airport.
